The Eating Disorder Examination (EDE) is considered the most comprehensive and well researched assessment of eating disorder pathology. This investigator-based interview assesses the cognitive and behavioral symptoms of eating disorders and can be used to provide dimensional ratings of symptom severity as well as generate diagnoses of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and eating disorder not otherwise specified. This training will provide an overview of how to administer the EDE in both research and clinical settings.
Target audience: Clinicians working with eating disorder patients and investigators conducting research in disordered eating.
